PRESIDENT'S REMARKS - President Elect Leanne.
- Leanne reminded everyone to put in their menu choices for the Changeover Dinner at the Hockey Club on the 28th of June.
- Next week's Guest Speaker is Bron Anderson from Beyond Bank who will give us tips to protect ourselves from scams.
HIGHLIGHTS
Greg has seen the family of emu's wandering our streets. Brian (B1) had a young group of men dressed in suits, trim the bushes in his front yard. Lesley has tidied up the Boomerang Bag materials in the Pavilion. Keith has a new pair of glasses. Perry has repaired the knobs on our old BBQ. Leanne has booked her next adventure to Las Vegas and then the Caribbean. Brian Herd (B2) related an amusing story of how he had received a fine for driving through a stop sign in NSW, when he hadn't left S.A.
GENERAL
Keith encouraged everyone to make themselves available for the MCU at the Salty Sea Esta Event on Saturday 7th June. This is an important fundraiser for us.
The rest of the evening was filled with funny stories, loads of laughs and everyone leaving on a high, simply enjoying the company of like-minded individuals.
