We share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who strive to make positive changes in our community and the world.
Thought of the week "I learned a long time ago that worrying is like a Rocking Chair. It gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere."
Van Wilder.

PRESIDENT'S REMARKS - President Jane.
Jane and Kerre attended the IMPACT SUMMIT aka District Conference and Jane listed this as being the best one in years. It was held at Morphettville Racecourse and had amazing guest speakers. Jane was particularly impressed by Nova Perris' OAM address. There was also a 2km 'Walk for Polio' around the racecourse. Jane attended The Rotary Foundation Breakfast and listened to Charlie Allen speak Charlie is a Rotary Peace Fellow.
Some interesting guest speakers have been lined up for us over the coming weeks. Beyond Bank will tell us all about scams and how to avoid them and we will hear from Richard Horgan, a Whyalla ambassador.
Perry and Jane have been invited to the University Awards evening to present the Glen Eden Prize for Excellence in Mental Health Studies.
HIGHLIGHTS
Leanne & Brian Herd we invited to a volunteer's morning tea at the council Offices and were presented with certificates for their involvement in organising and marshalling the Christmas Pageant. Greg is going on a holiday to visit his Dad and Lesley has just returned from a cruise with Andy and managed not to throw him overboard!
GENERAL
Keith encouraged everyone to make themselves available for the MCU at the Salty SeaEsta Event on Saturday 7th June. This is an important fundraiser for us.
The evening wrapped up with an Australian History Quiz and a Rotary Quiz. The chocolates were shared across the board.
If you are unable to attend a Club Meeting or function your apology can be made to Secretary Brian Herd 0410 313 271 before 12 noon on the day of the meeting
