GUEST SPEAKER
Alek Sims
Eyre Eye Centre
The Eyre Eye Centre in Whyalla is part of a multi-practice Optometry business operating across the Eyre Peninsula with offices also in Pt. Lincoln and Ceduna as well as consulting in many other towns across the E.P.
. The Whyalla Office was located in Forsyth Street for many years, but the group has recently expanded by constructing its own 'purpose built' premises on Elliott Street.
Alek is no stranger to Rotary as he was supported by Rotary when he has visited Nepal, conducting eye clinics for the local population. Alek is also no stranger to Whyalla Rotarians as a number of us are clients and he has visited the Club to relate his experiences overseas.
Alek provided a tour of the new building and explained the purpose of all of the high-tech optometry equipment on site.
If you are unable to attend a Club Meeting or function your apology can be made to Secretary Brian Herd 0410 313 271 before 12 noon on the day of the meeting
