Meeting Notes
Service Committee - Brian Herd.
The third week of the month is reserved for Committee Meetings and whilst most of the required committees are still in formation, the Service Projects Committee got things underway with those present being either members of the committee or honorary members for the night.
Brian had prepared a comprehensive list of potential projects which he went through seeking a volunteer or Job Captain to manage each one. Some projects were organising Packages of Hope, the Walk Against Domestic Violence and presentation of the annual School Awards. Others were mainly events which needed a working group such as outings for the MCU, and potential involvement in this year's Christmas Pageant.

Maternal and Child Health Month.
During July, Rotary celebrates Maternal and Child Health Month. It is an opportunity to reflect on the current status of maternal and child health around the globe, how Rotary members contribute to addressing issues at the community level, and further take the steps to analyze our collective impacts on health systems.
