Jane and Leanne will share the Presidency this year on a 3-monthly rotation as Jane has many commitments as Area Coordinator.
We would like to send Cassandra to RYPEN and we are looking for candidates for RYLA.
Treasurer
Keith reminded everyone that the annual subs are now due. The Board has kept them at the sale level as last year - $250. Please add an extra $100 to be a Centurion of The Rotary Foundation. This part is voluntary but strongly encouraged and is tax deductible. Keith will send an email advising of the Bank Account details for payment.
Club History
Keith researched to project to erect four Bus Shelters around Whyalla which took place in 1965. Each shelter had a large Rotary International sign on the side. The fabrication and erection were undertaken by us, but at the time it seemed quite a minor project as it only made three lines in the 1965 Annual Report. Maybe that’s because some of the other projects around that time were the establishment of the Fishing Jetty and the Building of the Senior Citizen's Clubrooms.
INDUCTION
This week we welcomed Greg Dunn back into the fold. You can tell by the expression on Mic’s face that he is pleased with this outcome. Greg seems rather pleased as well.

Maternal and Child Health Month.
During July, Rotary celebrates Maternal and Child Health Month. It is an opportunity to reflect on the current status of maternal and child health around the globe, how Rotary members contribute to addressing issues at the community level, and further take the steps to analyze our collective impacts on health systems.
