Lauren Shivvan was our guest speaker on 22 June, she gave presentation on her photography.
Lauren brought in some samples of her work (like the one in the photo above) which had been mounted on canvas, she also had some calendars. Her presentation gave us an idea of the wonderful shots she had taken around Whyalla: she sees herself as a sunrise—sunset girl. The examples included Cloud formation at wild dog hill; Whyalla high and the University with a double rainbow; the wetlands; down at the marina; Point Lowly. There have been many photographs of our Jetty but Lauren has taken a very different one, from underneath.
